Two posts in the same day, Whatever... ;)
Using the theory from the previous post, about Complements, Analogous, and Tetradic (yes, that's a new word!) colors, I created the two new colors to go on my text painting: Muted Green, and Tan/Brown.
I printed out the two colors that the website gave me for the tans Tetradic colors and then used the print out to match the colors in my attic. It went quite well! Considering that I don't currently have Magenta in my current Alkyd Enamel paint colors it came out okay. I used Acrylic paint instead (Burnt Umber and Red).
After the two colors have cured throughout the day I will come back and put a very small amount of Black and White lines on the top to give it even more dimension.
What do you think of my progress? Disregard the attic light glare at the top-right that I got when taking this photo.
I'll be interested to see how well the brown and green mix before it completely dries.
